Sexual Kata 101 - In-depth Male\Top Stances

 | | The word kata comes from the Japanese meaning formal exercise. In Asian culture kata is not only something practiced in the martial arts, but rather Kata has a deep and spiritual meaning and is performed in almost every aspect of life. There is a kata (or formal form) for a tea ceremony and also for entering a room or greeting a friend. |

| Like martial arts, sex is also a discipline of the mind and body. And just as katas have been used for centuries to transfer knowledge and secrets of the body’s most effective forms for war, we can also use kata to communicate and train ourselves in the body’s most effective forms for love-making. |
|
| A Sexual Kata is a series of movements and\or techniques that are practiced in a pattern. The blackbelt principals teach us that the combination of Stance (the position our body assumes to perform a specific sexual technique, Pelvic Thrusting Style (the way in which our pelvis will move or be moved to accomplish sexual motion), and for advanced students… also the speed of the thrusts, unite to form the Basic Sexual Katas. Complex Sexual Katas (which will be the topic of a future article) are strings of interconnected Basic Sexual Katas that train for advanced transitions.
Each Sexual Kata is designed to teach a central principle, that can then be applied in any combination during an actual round of lovemaking.

 | Code Name: The Duke
Details: A mustache features above a Soul Patch and both are riding atop a thin layer of Scruff. Unquestionably sexy and cool looking this scruff beard with accents is perfect for musicians, goes great with a hip-hop lifestyle or when getting down at the club, but doesn’t really convert to the conference room very well. The scruff with this choice of accents just doesn’t look like you work at IBM or any other corporation for that matter. It may be difficult to be taken seriously in corporate settings with this facial hair formation, unless you are absolutely on top of your game. Removing the scruff allows the mustache and the soul patch to take on a more professional air, but of course that’s also a different facial hair formation all together.
This look works great for black guys where the soul patch is an accent below fuller lips, generally the whole look compliments fuller features nicely allowing them to still be focal but expanding the overall dimension of the face. The mustache can mask a top lip that might otherwise seem a bit too prominent. For guys with a small or non-prominent lower lip the soul patch can also serve to boost focus. As a rule The Duke goes great with low haircuts where the scruff and the hair on the head are both just a shadow. Overall this look is an unquestionably slick and sexy look for guys of all kinds but it’s defiantly more for play than for work. |  |

 | Tips for taking this Kata to the next level...
Tip 1: On a bed or sofa, The Prone Stance can be the glue that fits in-between more complex stances, whenever you get physically tired having been in a more complicated posture for a while, you can easily fall back into the prone stance.
Tip 2: “Dig in” for increased mobility. What do we mean? It’s easy, just dig your toes into the mattress if it’s possible; or plant the soles of your feet firmly against the headboard, footboard, or a wall; or hook your feet onto something like the frame of the bed if its reachable (on pullout couches where mattresses are thin, a guy can almost always find a way to hook his feet into the metal frame the mattress sits on). If you can dig in you’ll be able to control your pelvic thrusts in a much more dynamic way, you’ll also be able to really drive yourself home for much deeper thrusts.
Don’t be shy about dragging your partner across the bed so that you can get close enough to the edge, to a wall or headboard or footboard, in order to dig in. A) Your partner will find your aggressive manhandling to be deliciously take charge, you’ll be seen as a man who follows his animal instincts and knows his way around a bed, b) when you get to where you’re going, and get yourself dug in, the fireworks that follow will be well worth a little relocation on the mattress.
Tip 3: Look closely at the animation above. Of course the “Pelvic Tilt” is the major thrusting style, but notice at the end of thrust when Lance’s penis is fully inserted that he flexes his ass for an extra accent. This is the “Pelvic Flex” and it puts a nice punctuation on the end of or intermixed with other trusts. |  |
